    The  King’s College Old Boys’ Association (KCOBA) Jobs Fair 2012 in conjunction with Jobberman.com took place successfully on Saturday, 15 September 2012 with about twelve (12) participating organisations and over three hundred (300) job-seeking Old Boys (OBs) in attendance.

    The event kicked off with a brief tete-a-tete between the organisers (Jobs Fair Task Force) led by Mr. Olu Akpata (General Secretary, KCOBA, September 2011- September 2012) and yours sincerely – Mr. Seyi Oseh (Assistant General Secretary, KCOBA, September 2011- September 2012), event partner- Jobberman.com, HR representatives of partcipating organisations and the job-seeking OBs, during which the design and structure of the event was discussed. A representative of Subsidy Re-investment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P), a Federal Government of Nigeria’s initiative to provide jobs for job seekers in Nigeria) was present to introduce the Government’s laudable programme to all present.

    Between 10:00 hours and 18:00 hours that day, all hands were on deck to ensure that the event went smoothly as job-seeking OBs took turns in an orderly manner to visit the stands of the following participating organisations;

    -Acorn Petroleum

    -Ecobank Nig. Plc

    -Standard Chartered Bank

    -Chocolate City Group

    -Consolex Legal

    -Diamond Bank

    -BGL Securities

    -Sterling Bank


    -CMB Properties, and

    -Access Bank.
